Manufacturer Authorization is important for the following reasons:
- Access to engineering support. As phone systems become more sophisticated they also become much more complicated. Authorized dealers have access to teams of engineers to help in complicated problems.
- Access to 2 and 5 year warranty directly from the manufacturer. Over the years many of the startup phone system companies bought their equipment "indirectly" over the internet. When these companies went out of business the customers lost their warranty and if their equipment broke it would no longer be replaced for free. With a direct relationship from the manufacturer this warranty is always honored.
- Access to NEW equipment. Most often companies that do not have a direct relationship with the manufacturer are forced to buy used or "like new" equipment off of the internet. With access to new equipment from the manufacturer you are guaranteed to get quality and reliability.
